BBC and ITV are going head-to-head in their coverage of England in the Women's World Cup final

The BBC were forced to apologise to viewers in the opening minutes of their coverage of the Women’s World Cup final.

However, some viewers on BBC were getting a little annoyed that the coverage featured Spanish commentary. In the opening few minutes for the final, BBC viewers could hear Spanish commentators over the BBC’s team. Once the problem was resolved, BBC lead commentator issued a quick apology. She said: “Apologies, if you were hearing our Spanish colleagues. They are very up for this.”
