Jennifer Hale has replaced Hellena Taylor as the titular character.
In a series of videos on Twitter, Taylor alleged that developer PlatinumGames only offered her $4,000 in total across five different sessions. She stated that this was well below the living wage and urged fans to boycott the game and donate to charity.'s Jason Schreier he claims to have seen evidence suggesting PlatinumGames offered her $3,000-$4,000 per session in line with SAG-AFTRA union rate and that she rejected the offer, requesting a six-figure payment as well as royalties.
When the decision was made to replace her as Bayonetta, an offer was apparently made to have her make a cameo with one session's pay, but that offer was thought to have been not accepted.
