The Dons were booed at full time as they lost 2-0 to Hibs at home but Robson is urging patience.
Barry Robson has overseen a major rebuild and told the frustrated Aberdeen support that his new-look side will come good.
Robson, as his team were booed at full-time, said: “I understand the fans want to win every game but we need a bit of patience. We’ll get better game by game. We’re in Europe and we need to accept that. The other teams we’re going to face, most of them aren’t, but we will be alright. You’ve seen glimpses of what we can do against Hacken and Celtic where we were outstanding. The other games have caught us out.
Robson, who refused to rule out further signings, admitted his team looked tired after everything they had put in against BK Hacken on Thursday night. He added: “The distance we covered in the game on Thursday then playing in that heat today caught up with us but Hibs were the same and they managed it a bit better than we did.
