Balaclava-clad thugs with machete burst into home and attack terrified victims in 'traumatic' burglary
A gang of four thugs allegedly entered a Leigh home with a machete and assaulted the occupants in a 'traumatic' incident. Greater Manchester Police is investigating an aggravated burglary in the early hours of Friday morning on Glover Street.
The group then left the property empty handed in the direction of Tamar Grove and Nel Pen Lane. The victims were taken to hospital for treatment.Enquiries are ongoing and GMP is appealing for witnesses to assist with its investigation. Anyone with information about the burglary is urged to come forward as soon as possible.
