Liverpool look set to sign a third midfielder of the summer transfer window after making a shock approach for Stuttgart captain Wataru Endo.
So, if the Reds were to sign Endo, could he be the missing piece in Klopp's midfield, or will he just be an extra set of legs? We simulated next season with the 30-year-old in Klopp's side to find out. Over the course of the season, Endo made 27 appearances, with just nine of those starts and just two starts coming after November. Compared to the rest of the Liverpool midfield, Endo was the worst-performing player, averaging a rating of just 6.51 per game.
