The Backstreet Boys’ Z100 iHeart Radio Jingle Ball set was reportedly cut from live streams - and didn’t feature on the festival’s social media platforms - amid Nick Carter’s ongoing sexual assault lawsuit.
The apparent censoring of the set from the station’s live stream was one in a string of events that omitted the group following Nick’s legal issues.
In the wake of the lawsuit, an ABC special dedicated to the 90s pop band titled A Very Backstreet Holiday was thrown out as reported by the outlet.supports HTML5 videoThe case against Nick also put their CW Network edition of the feature up in the air as it was not immediately clear if their performance would be included in the airing set for December 17.came just days after a 39-year-old Las Vegas woman Shannon Ruth accused Nick of sexually assaulting her on Thursday.
Shannon Ruth – who has autism and cerebral palsy – said the singer invited her on to his tour bus after seeing her waiting for an autograph when she was 17 following a concert in Tacoma, Washington in February 2001.
