Avowed was going to be multiplayer till the devs realised they wanted to make 'an Obsidian game and not something different'

I'm all-for another amazing singleplayer experience from Obsidian and, honestly, RPGs are the one genre where I'm not all that interested in co-op. A major focus now,after the game's announcement, is on the companion characters that will be a part of the experience and follow the player through the story and world.
