Australian defender Aidan Coyne has joined Watford’s Under-21 team after signing a one-year contract, subject to international clearance.The 18-year-old progressed through the Academy at Perth Glory and made five A-League appearances last season.With the Australian season over he decided to travel to the UK to further his career, and after training with a couple of other clubs he was invited to a trial with the Hornets.
Coyne, who celebrates his 19th birthday tomorrow , is the son of former Australian international central defender Chris Coyne, who made more than 200 appearances for Luton Town as well as having spells with West Ham, Dundee and Colchester United.'Modric is the best' - Bilic
