Audacious Ukrainian plot to wipe out Russian pilots with poisoned whiskey and cake

The deadly plot was scuppered just seconds before Russian pilots tucked into the cake allegedly laced with poison A Ukrainian bid to wipe out dozens of Russian pilots with cake and whiskey laced with poison was thwarted at the last minute, it is claimed. ‌Boxes of Jameson Irish Whiskey and a giant cake – both laced with a deadly ingredient – were reportedly delivered to a celebration at a top military flying academy.

‌A picture of the detained man was published by Baza media outlet. The outlet said: ‘He immediately told everything – about the cake with a potent poison, which bottles were poisoned right away, and which ones he bought to top the present up.‌ ‘He explained how he knew the number of guests, and where the celebration would take place.‌ ‘Even the aviation school emblem, drawn on top of the cake, was the current emblem.’‌ Reports did not say which poison was allegedly used.
