Emergency responders are being given a 'token of appreciation' by the leading supermarket

To help paramedics, police officers, and firefighters during one of the busiest times of year, and during the colder weather, the leading supermarket chain company is giving out tea and coffee to help them get through their shifts. The service will be available 24 hours a day to help all shift workers.

Off duty responders with a Blue Light Card also receive 10 per cent back in their Cashpot on all fresh purchases including fresh meat, fish and ready meals when they scan their Asda Rewards app at the checkout. Asda Chief People and Corporate Affairs Officer, Hayley Tatum, said: "This initiative is a token of our appreciation for the tireless work that our emergency responders are carrying out in the communities in which we operate.
