The former pub and cafe bar in Manchester Road has been regularly targeted by vandals and arsonists. The building will soon be no more 🚧

Previously is was The Balmoral Hotel and a pub has stood on the site for more than 100 years.

Now Preston Enterprise Limited owned by Mr Khalil Patel has applied for permission to demolish the building inIn documents submitted with the demolition application Mr Patel states the demolition has been ‘ordered by housing standards’ at the city council.The demolition comes as major plans for a huge new housing block in theon the site but never come to pass.
