Arsenal block several Twitter users for posting hate under LGBTQ+ post AFC
Arsenal’s official Twitter account has blocked a host of users after receiving hate comments under a post celebrating LGBTQ+ history month.
This prompted the club’s social media team to act on Thursday morning by blocking many of the accounts displaying hate comments.Advertisement Despite the hateful comments, Arsenal’s efforts in improving inclusivity at the Emirates Stadium have been applauded by super fan Selina.: “GayGooners has had a profound impact on LGBTQ+ people in football. We were the first official LGBTQ+ supporters’ group in the country, paving the way for the many others that have formed since.“I have met some amazing people that have become friends and been encouraged to get out of my comfort zone to help inspire the next generation of LGBTQ+ Gooners.
