Arrest made after triple attack on VIBE Lancaster nightclub before its grand reopening
A man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and criminal damage after a car was driven into the front of a nightclub before its grand reopening.
Det Ch Insp Lee Wilson, of Lancashire Police’s West Division, said: “Firstly we’d like to thank all those people who contacted us with information. We have now arrested somebody and he remains in custody. Joshua Hughes died on Sunday, June 12 following the incident. The 22-year-old had been left fighting for his life after being punched outside the venue and he was rushed to Royal Preston Hospital where he had two emergency surgeries.
