A man has been arrested after someone was struck with a glass bottle in Watford.
Two people were involved in a confrontation at around 2.30pm on Friday, July 7, on a grass area next to Church Street. During the row, a man allegedly hit the victim with a glass bottle – causing injury – in what police described as a “terrible ordeal” for them. A 47-year-old man from Bushey was arrested on suspicion of assault and possession of cannabis. He has since been released on bail while enquiries continue.
