The driver of one of the vehicles fled the scene following the crash
The emergency services were called to the Shore Road at around 6.15pm on Saturday, August 26, following reports of a two vehicle collision between a red BMW and a blue Ford Focus.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police investigating a road traffic collision in Whiteabbey on Saturday, 26th August have made an arrest.
