Five teens were detained on Liverpool Waterfront
Merseyside Police received reports, just before 6.30pm on Wednesday, August 29, of a number of men in Chavasse Park, Liverpool ONE, with a gun. Armed police were deployed to the area to investigate.
Police recovered a BB gun and five teenagers, aged between 13 and 15, were detained by officers near Liverpool Museum on the waterfront. Pictures sent to The ECHO show nine police vehicles and a number of officers on Liverpool Waterfront.An eyewitness also reported seeing a number of police cars stopping behind John Lewis in Liverpool ONE. Police have confirmed nobody was injured in the incident and there is no wider concern for the general public.
