A desperate search is underway for a missing man from Irvine following an 'out-of-character' disappearance.
Frank Duffy was last seen in Kilwinning Road, Irvine shortly after 9.40am on Monday, August 28. He has not been seen or heard from since and his family’s concern is growing.
When last seen, Frank was wearing a burgundy-coloured jumper, black jogging trousers, and black plimsoles. He is around 6ft tall with a heavy build. Police say extensive enquiries have been carried out, however, Frank has yet to be traced. Officers are continuing to speak to family and friends for any additional information that could assist them in locating Frank.
Top news stories today Inspector Christopher Cochrane said: “The fact that Frank has not been in touch with his family is concerning and very unlike him. I would ask people to look out for Frank and if anyone has seen him or has any knowledge as to where he could be, please get in touch with us.” Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 1453 of 28 August, 2023.
