Giannis Antetokounmpo underwent a cleanup procedure on his knee two weeks ago and is uncertain for Greece’s FIBA World Cup play this summer, ShamsCharania confirms. More:

Antetokounmpo is obviously the Bucks’ most important player and any procedure or injury is going to lead to the utmost concern, but a cleanup procedure during the offseason should limit those concerns as these types of procedures tend to be relatively routine.

For now, it appears to be business as usual as Antetokounmpo is currently in China in support of his Nike sponsorship and there is still hope that he will be able to play for the Greek national team in the in August. If Antetokounmpo is unable to play in the World Cup though, that would still give him time to recover before the Bucks start training camp at the end of September. —
