BREAKING: Hate preacher Anjem Choudary has been charged with three terror offences including directing a terrorist organisation, the Metropolitan Police said.
An alleged Islamic extremist has been charged with directing a terrorist organisation.was arrested last MondayHe was charged on Sunday with membership of a proscribed group, directing it and addressing meetings to encourage support.
Another man, Khaled Hussein, a Canadian national, has also been charged with membership of a proscribed organisation under the Terrorism Act 2000.The pair were held under section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2000 and remanded in custody.
