Scotrail has issued a warning to morning travellers after services were disturbed due to 'animals on the line' - interrupting services in Neilston and Glasgow Central.
Scotrail issued a warning this morning following disruption on lines between Neilston and Glasgow Central.
Services were subject to delays, cancellations or alterations during rush-hour however, services appear to be returning to normal with only some trains experiencing knock on delays. A spokesperson for Scotrail confirmed the animal was in fact a swan, they said: "Services between Neilston and Glasgow Central were subject to delays and alterations earlier this morning due to a swan on the railway line between Neilston and Patterton.Phil Campbell, ScotRail Customer Operations Director, said: "We're sorry to customers who experienced disruption to their journey this morning, and share their frustrations.
Scotrail revealed that services are subject to delays, cancellations or alterations in both Neilston and Patterton.
