Liverpool fans heading to Anfield for this afternoon's visit of Aston Villa will notice an empty area of the stadium once again.
Back then it had been predicted that the main contractor on the redevelopment, Buckingham Group would finish work on the upper tier and the entire project by October. The news meant work immediately stopped on the Anfield site, with sub-contracting companies pulling their workers away and complaints about people not being paid for work that has already been carried out surfacing.
