Rhiannon Adam joins a crew of nine expected to launch next year on a week-long mission to the Earth's satellite.

"In the middle of the pandemic, we were, of course, all grounded, which was incredibly frustrating for me as I felt that I'd lost my purpose.

Also on the team is UK-born photographer Karim Iliya, who grew up in the Middle East and Asia, and has had work published in National Geographic and BBC Earth. Mr Maezawa, an entrepreneur and art collector, wanted to"open up the opportunity of going to space to more and more diverse talents".
