Noah Lyles launched the rant after winning the 200m gold medal at the World Athletics Championship.

basketball title winners traditionally term themselves as world champions when claiming their crown - and Lyles commented on this after winning his second gold medal out in Hungary.does not cover the entire world and only includes teams from the United States and Canada, to which journalists initially laughed when he made the point. But he was applauded at the end of his statement as he launched a passionate monologue of the World Athletics Championship.
