A women’s health and wellbeing event is taking place in Preston later this month. The free event, organised by TRibe Fitness, will feature talks from experts on different aspects of women’s health from menopause to nutrition, and self-confidence to sexual health.“I run a women’s fitness and development centre in Preston, working with women of all ages but predominantly over the age of 30,” said Lyn Clement, personal trainer and TRibe Fitness’s owner.
“Ewa Craven’s vision for women’s health hubs is crucial to all women in Lancashire and South Cumbria and is exactly what we need,” said Lyn. “Therefore I wanted to arrange an event to support her vision, an event where the women of Preston can learn more about health subjects and services that affect them.”
There will also be free active sessions including a pilates-based workout with Helen Kimber, a yoga session with Mandala Principal Emma Lowther-Wright, and a self-protection workshop with Jess and Clare from Krav Maga.“Anyone is welcome to attend, irrespective of gender and age,” said Lyn. “Women’s health affects everyone not just women.
The event will take place on Saturday 25 November from 10am to 3pm at TRibe Fitness, Preston Technology Park, Preston PR1 8UQ.
