Several big name shops will remain closed on Boxing Day
The Boxing Day sales remain a popular way for shoppers to bag a bargain over the festive season as retailers up and down the high street slash prices.
Home Bargains Discount store Home Bargains will close all of its branches for three days over the Christmas period - Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day - to allow staff to enjoy the festivities with their loved ones. Aldi stores will close at the earlier time of 6pm on Christmas Eve and reopen from 8am to 8pm on December 27. Aldi stores will also remain closed on New Year's Day.
