Alison Hammond has spoken of how her niece is being treated in hospital - praising the “absolutely amazing” NHS staff caring for her

Alison’s niece Jasmine was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease when she was three years old and was left fighting for her life after she collapsed at school nine years later. Speaking previously, Alison said her niece had always been “poorly”, but nothing could have prepared her for what was to come. Luckily, Jasmine received the transplant she needed and made a remarkable recovery. Alison told how she and her family put themselves on the organ donor list because she had seen how it can “save and transform lives”.
