Alison Hammond has shared the details of a moment in her life when she received a proposal from a mystery man, in a rare look at her love life.
Chatting about the concept of public proposals and whether they're romantic or simply embarrassing, Alison and Holly, 42, opened up on their own experiences with regular guests Gyles Brandreth, an author and TV star, and The Telegraph's Royal editor Camilla Tominey."I won't say who it was because then it would be exposed but, they did it in private in my bedroom.
"Both of you knew your potential partners very well if one of you was in the bath and the other was in their nightie," he declared with a laugh."That's the way it was done in those days," the writer added. Holly chose to rock a funky navy and white polka dot dress, her signature blonde locks styled to perfection.
