Morelos is set to return to South America and sign for Santos after a long-running summer saga.
Alfredo Morelos is finally set to land his next club after leaving Rangers - with a move to Santos in Brazil seemingly imminent.
The Colombian remains a free agent after his Ibrox contract expired and reports in Europe suggest a move to Fenerbahce collapsed at the final hurdle when he had already arrived to seal the deal. Concerns over his attitude were believed to be central to that one but he's quickly picked himself up and now a move back to South America is on the verge.
Respected South American transfer journalist claims he is "on a trip to Brazil" to join the Brazilian heavyweights and is set to get the move over the line. Negotiations are "well advanced" and it's expected he'll put pen to paper once he and his agent arrive in the state of Sao Paulo. In total Morelos scored 124 goals in 269 games for Rangers and the move marks the beginning of the next chapter of his career.
