Celebrity Race Across the World will see Good Morning Britain's Alex Beresford travel with his dad - even though he's since revealed that his wife Imogen wanted to take part
Alex Beresford, 41, is taking on the ultimate BBC challenge in Celebrity Race Across the World and bringing along his dad Noel for the ride - however, his old man wasn't his only choice of travel companion.
Speaking ahead of the show's debut, Alex said that while it was a "huge privilege" to take his dad on the trip, he was tempted to take Imogen. The ITV weather man married Australian 29-year-old Imogen McKay in October last year, with the wedding taking place in Majorca.
