Supermarket chain Aldi has treated fans of all things Christmas to a festive treat by sharing a new milkshake recipe with shoppers. The retailer shared its new Mince Pie Milkshake with fans on its social media pages recently - and there was a mixed response from some.

A spokesperson for the retailer said: "Have we gone too far with this Mince Pie Milkshake? Nah, didn’t think so."Many fans reacted to the post enthusiastically with emojis and messages welcoming the sweet treat. One said: "mmmm sounds good."
While another posted: "Aldi are so so good." And another fan suggested it as being ideal for Boxing Day. However, some weren't too sure with one fan replying: "Not sure how I feel about this."2 large Scoops Vanilla Ice CreamMethod Carefully remove the tops from 2 of the mince pies and put to one side.
Break up the rest of the mince pies and put into a liquidiser along with the milk, ice cream and mixed spice.Decorate with the tops of the mince pies, sprinkle a little mixed spice on top and serve.
