The supermarket chain is investing £1.4bn into expanding its coverage across the UK
With a plan spanning two years, the supermarket chain said it had garnered roughly one million new customers in the past 12 months. Earlier this month, the chain opened its 1,000th store and wants to reach a target of 1,500 stores in the country.
The supermarket chain said it is looking for freehold town centre, edge-of-centre, and retail parks as property development opportunities, with ideal locations being situated near a main road with easy access. It is also investing in creating new and expanded distribution centres, such as the new centre that opened in Leicestershire.
