Remedy Entertainment's communications manager has confirmed that Alan Wake 2 will include a Performance mode on Xbox Series X at launch.
"I'm glad to say that Alan Wake 2 will have a Performance mode on PS5 and Xbox Series X," Puha said on
."The game has been built from the beginning as a 30fps experience focusing on visuals and ambiance, but somehow we have managed to include a solid Performance mode. We’ll talk details later."Puha says that a post detailing resolutions and framerate will follow soon, but when replying to one comment asking if the Performance mode will be unlocked with a 60fps target or feature a"true 60fps lock [the] majority of the time", Puha said the team is"still tweaking that.
"I'll try to find time to write a post about this, including the resolutions, etc. It's a complex topic to say the very least.
