The strict rules are set to be relaxed for the first time in 16 years.
The newest rules coming into force will mean that passengers travelling through airports in the UK will be able to carry drinks, full-size makeup bottles and liquids of any size in their hand luggage. This will be the first time in over 16 years that full-size liquids will be allowed onboard an aircraft.
This new change will have a massive impact on families travelling throughout the school holidays, as bosses hope that the change will significantly improve wait times in security lines.
