Children are encouraged to dress up and there will be slime making, cake decorating and more
A family 'wonderland' event celebrating Alice, the Mad Hatter and Dormouse from the popular Lewis Carroll tale, is taking place in Walton Hall Park this spring.
All children who complete the walk will receive a keepsake medal. The event is organised and staffed by Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, who bring the annual Spooky Welly Walk to Liverpool.Polly O’Gorman, the charity’s events fundraising manager, said, ‘’We’re thrilled to be bringing Adventures in Wonderland back to Walton Hall Park this year, it’s the perfect setting. We all really enjoyed last year’s event and lots of families told us they loved it too`.
‘’What few people understand is that anyone with lungs can get this disease; young or old, rich or poor, man or woman – anyone from any background – even if they’ve never smoked in their life. Our mission is to provide information, support, and practical help for anyone affected by lung cancer.
