Activision says development of Call of Duty 2023 is “proceeding well”. The untitled PC and console game, which is expected to be a continuation of Modern Warfare 2, is targeting a fourth quarter release
Maps and modes from Modern Warfare 2 will also be carried over to the new title, it has been claimed.
Activision said on Tuesday that the first details about the reveal event for this year’s game will arrive in its announcement of Season 5 for Modern Warfare 2 and“Call of Duty approaches its 20-year anniversary in October with around 90 million monthly players, with over half of all engagement on the mobile platform,” the publisher said in its earnings results on Wedneday.
