Maundy Relief are set to run in year’s SPAR Ron Hill Accrington 10K to celebrate their 25th anniversary and raise funds needs to continue the vital services they provide
A charity will be entering a team in an annual run this month to raise money for frontline work in the community.
Operation Manager, Beccy Murrell said: “It’s a special year for us. 25 years of Maundy Relief and we really wanted to do something fun to raise money. The services we provide are essential to the local community so it’s important for us to shout about the work we do.“There has been a 25% increase in demand for services since the announcement of the cost-of-living crisis. People need more help now than ever so every penny counts.
