Paul's family have done annual fundraisers since his passing.
Kenny Swan from Hamilton Golf Club, Lara Henderson, Emma Creaney, Denise Creaney, Hayley Smith from CHAS and event organiser Stewart HendersonAt just six weeks old, Paul Creaney was diagnosed with alobar holoprosencephaly, a condition which prevents the brain from controlling the functions of the body.His family have managed to raise money for CHAS over eight years through an annual fundraiser at Hamilton Golf Club.
This year’s fundraising efforts reached almost £15,000, bringing the total raised since to an incredible £80,000 since 2014.Events included family friend Lara Henderson running the Edinburgh marathon in May, his sister Emma taking on a 100 miles in a month challenge and his mum Denise taking part in the Kiltwalk.
Michelle added: “It is always such a poignant event because it takes place in May – the same month as Paul’s anniversary and Denise and Matt have said the event helps get them through this sad time each year which is so touching to hear.”
