Multiple engines and police vehicles were pictured next to the former home of the White Elephant cinema in Shawlands.A stretch of Kilmarnock Road has been taped off.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that they were called to a report of a building on fire.A Traffcom warning has been issued by Glasgow City urging drivers to avoid the area, as the road is closed in both directions between Mount Stuart Street and Walton Street.confirmed that they were called at around 7.15pm to help with traffic management.
