“It sounds so obvious to say, but the thing with swimwear is that you really have to get it right, you’re at your most exposed – the fit, the feel, the support – there is no room for anything that you don’t love, and certainly nothing that isn’t confidence boosting. Our bodies change all the time, so with that my taste in swimwear has morphed a little from what I was sporting in my 20s, which was “the skimpier the better”.
Now I’m in my 30s and post-baby, it’s a bit more covered, but not much – I’m not in a wetsuit just yet, and to be honest I probably won’t be in my 90s either. This Zimmermann bikini is an absolute winner. I’ve always loved terry-towelling, so I’m thrilled there is so much of it around at the moment.
