The park is set to become 'a palaeontologist’s playground' as animatronic dinosaurs delight visitors
Dinosaur fans are in for a treat this summer as Heaton Park welcomes 40 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs.
With dinosaurs round every corner, the park will be filled with classic favourites such as the Stegosaurus, Triceratops and Velociraptor, as well as the lesser-known Dilophosaurus, Kentrosaurus and Hypacrosaurus.Visitors will be able to wind their way along the Dinosaur Trail, solve puzzles, and carry out some Jurassic dentistry by brushing the teeth of the resident T-Rex.
You'll be able to design your own dinosaur and watch it come to life on the screen and visit the palaeontologist tent to 'discover fossils, dinosaur dung and interesting facts'.
