Granary Quay flats will be available to rent from summer 2024. The name is a nod to developers, Dandara Living, choosing the site of former grain warehouses at Glasgow Harbour as the location.
Glasgow city centre is gearing up for over 300 new apartments on the banks of the River Clyde, with a gym, residents lounge and kitchen as well as parking plus bike storage.
Many of the 342 studio, one and two-bedrooms apartments will enjoy waterfront view as part of the build-to-rent development. Private courtyard spaces and recreational areas will be available to residents while an urban park will be available for residents and the local community.Lord Provost Jacqueline McLaren, Carol Monaghan MP and Kaukab Stewart MSP joined Dandara Living’s CEO Jim Davies in a ceremonial tree planting to commemorate the topping out of the development.
“Build to rent is still a relatively new concept in Scotland which is hugely popular in other regions and appealing to young professionals who are looking for high-spec homes in developments that are professionally managed and provide a sense of community rather than living in isolation.”
