A 27-year-old woman's death is suspected to be "unnatural", and her provisional cause of death is yet to be ascertained, an inquest heard. Area coroner Laurinda Bower recorded her comments as she opened the inquest into the death of Jessica Alice Nicholson.
A short hearing at the Council House, in Nottingham's Old Market Square, was told Jessica was born on September 25, 1995, and died on November 1 this year. She was found dead at an address in Tuxford. She was identified by her mother at the Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham, on November 3. Further inquiries are yet to be completed into the death.The inquest will continue at a final hearing on a future date. Miss Bower expressed her condolences to "all who knew Miss Nicholson".
